Folding Attic Stairs – The Early Days
Although I began my career as a carpenter in the early eighties I didn’t really start working regularly with folding attic stairs until 1999.
Responding to increasing demand for what was obviously a very useful thing to have in the house, I decided to focus my attention exclusively on attic stairs. Although I was already a skilled and experienced carpenter, there was a learning curve. but with time and experience, I just got better and better at it.
Fakro Folding Attic Stairs
Although I’ve installed other loft ladders, I found that the Fakro Folding Stairs to be the best all round. Sure, there are cheaper ladders on the market, but they don’t match Fakro for quality and reliability. There are also ladders that are considerably more expensive if you can justify the price. I decided to stick with Fakro and over the years they have proven their worth both to me and an awful lot of satisfied customers.
I don’t like to boast and it’s a strange thing to boast about, but I’m pretty sure that at this point I must be one of the top Fakro Attic Stairs Installers in the Cork area.
Business Matters
Running a business is hard work and can be tough at the best of times – but there is an upside – and frankly, hard work is something that never bothered me.
I like it that I have managed to build a good reputation with what is now a long list of very satisfied customers. My customers are probably my best advertisement and I get a lot of my work by word of mouth, through their recommendations.
All Work and No Play?
When I’m not working my favourite pastime is riding my motocross bike and I like to spend as much time with my family as I can.
